This is a webinar course for ESD consultants, building designers, planners, engineers and stormwater professionals who want to understand how to design lot (building) scale urban stormwater systems to meet recent stormwater guidelines (ARR 2019, Planning, and EPA ) for individual sites. This training focuses on “InSite water” insitewater.com.au, which is online software developed specifically for Councils and planning and building professionals for use in building and planning approvals.

Our Trainer

Ian Adams
Director – Organica Engineering

Ian Adams, director of Organica Engineering is an environmental engineer and experienced public speaker, workshop facilitator and trainer, regularly providing training at the highest levels in government and the building industry.  Ian has been instrumental in helping develop industry toolkits such as InSite Water, BESS, and Green Star, and he has an in-depth knowledge of how to implement WSUD and sustainable design in buildings.

Ian has worked as a planning sustainability referrals officer at Knox Council, and he has assisted many metropolitan Councils with establishing their sustainability assessment in planning and capital words programs. Ian also has extensive experience in Green Star for many projects and in training and facilitation of workshops for the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). Ian and the team at Organica Engineering developed the InSite over the last five years.
